We've all seen something we enjoy get dissected and put into a top 10, 20 or 100 list of some sort. Maybe you've made one of these lists yourself. Each ranking list is merely a summary of the opinion of a single person or group. Who made them the authority? What if you think their rankings are totally wrong?
This is where BuzzTally comes in.
BuzzTally collects ranking lists from anyone who wants to share their opinion on any topic and aggregates the rankings to generate a single consensus ranking list. It's a ranking list free of social hierarchy where you have as much sway in the rankings as the New York Times, a famous youtuber, or your favorite blogger. In the end we will all be able to look at a ranking list and know that as a collective group, we agree that this is how these items rank.
Don't worry, you'll still be able to save your own personal ranking choices as an image that you can blast all over social media. This is meant to be shared because the more people that submit their rankings, the more accurate the consensus rankings will be.
You select a Tally list that interests you and you are presented with a randomized grid of items to prevent any bias. You just drag & drop to rearrange all of the items in the order that you determine. Don't take any ranking lightly as each ranking carries point values that can affect the final rankings.
A Tally list does not have its top ranked item determined by the most 1st place votes. A top ranked item has the highest average ranking across all submissions. The item with the most 1st place votes will get identified though with a special icon.
Once you have your ranking order solidified, you can submit your final rankings. Now you'll be able to see the consensus rankings grid up to this point along with a breakdown of each item's percentage scores.
